reflection in quarter 2

After the lessons of ICT I have learned a lot of things: first that is how to create the site to cater for the learning and teaching; The second is much more useful site for the study served for teaching future; ultimately improve the level of their information technology. During the learning process teachers have provided the best information from the syllable, lecture to reference. Besides, teachers are very friendly and caring as she taught me always smiling, not discerning, not pressure me, sometimes she says things funny make us feel more comfortable during school hours. However I have something inconvenient as in terms of time and equipment tubers school as school too early 7a.m time I did not even have time to eat breakfast, adding that I had to learn it, the more transparent 4 I can not sit too long focused and always feel hungry. In terms of equipment: computers in the computer lab does not meet all my requirements, it is too slow sometimes was standing, was shutdown whil...

climateee chagee

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Such shifts can be natural, due to changes in the sun’s activity or large volcanic eruptions. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas. Burning fossil fuels generates greenhouse gas emissions that act like a blanket wrapped around the Earth, trapping the sun’s heat and raising temperatures. https://www.un.org/en/climatechange/what-is-climate-change The main greenhouse gases that are causing climate change include carbon dioxide and methane. These come from using gasoline for driving a car or coal for heating a building, for example. Clearing land and cutting down forests can also release carbon dioxide. Agriculture, oil and gas operations are major sources of methane emissions. Energy, industry, transport, buildings, agriculture and land use are among the main sectors causi...

learning science is fun!!

Splashy science frauds usually spark conversations about the fact that science sometimes fails. But what often gets missed are the decidedly less sexy structural flaws within science — from publication bias (the fact that the studies that end up published tend to have positive results) to the lack of replication (or the attempt to validate previous findings by reproducing experiments) and transparency. RelatedScience is often flawed. It's time we embraced that. There’s an interesting new series out in Science this week that suggests a few solutions to these and other problems. Written by a group of researchers, journal editors, funders, and other stakeholders, the pieces all have the underlying theme that science needs more avenues and incentives to improve reproducibility and transparency. www.vox.com

INTRAMMMSSSS

“Intramurals are when students are provided with various purposeful opportunities to engage in fun, inclusive, and meaningful physical activities with other students at their school and outside of instructional time.” (Ophea 2023)    A quality intramural program provides a unique opportunity for school-wide involvement of numerous students. A range of approaches are considered when designing an intramural program to offer the greatest opportunity possible for every student based on time available, student interest and needs, and meaningful participation for everyone. Intramural organizers adopt a collaborative leadership approach with students, school staff, and community partners. Shared planning and decision making is leveraged to promote physically and emotionally safer environments for participation.   Most importantly, intramurals are student-centered. By engaging students throughout the process, from planning to facilitating activities, intramural organizers can pr...

teachers day

World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5 October to celebrate all teachers around the globe. It commemorates the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers, which sets benchmarks regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers, and standards for their initial preparation and further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions. The Recommendation concerning the Status of Higher-Education Teaching Personnel was adopted in 1997 to complement the 1966 Recommendation by covering teaching personnel in higher education. World Teachers’ Day has been celebrated since 1994. It is a day to celebrate how teachers are transforming education but also to reflect on the support they need to fully deploy their talent and vocation, and to rethink the way ahead for the profession globally. World Teachers’ Day is co-convened in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO), UNICEF and Education...
